Team CSIR-IHBT, Palampur conducted a one-day workshop on "Agriculture Diversification through CSIR-IHBT Technologies" in aspirational district Chamba, Himachal Pradesh on February 23, 2021, in association with DRDA, Chamba and State Horticulture Department. More than 90 progressive farmers, unemployed youth, officials of DRDA, Horticulture department, Agriculture department, BDOs and NGOs participated in this workshop which was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Chamba. The second phase of Aroma Mission was also initiated at aspirational district, Chamba with a mission to cover more than 400 hectares under aromatic crop and 150 acres under floriculture crop with the integration of apiculture to boost the economic conditions of the farmers.
