With the interventions of CSIR-NEIST, a distillation unit of 500 kg capacity was installed under CSIR Aroma Mission at Khekapara, Goalpara, Assam on 22nd February. This unit will be used for the processing of lemongrass and java citronella crops for extracting their essential oils.
