The distillation unit for Geranium was installed and the demonstration was conducted under CSIR-Aroma Mission by CSIR-CIMAP at Chinna Coonoor, Ooty, Tamil Nadu to revive Geranium cultivation. About 800 ml oil recovered from around 400 kg leaf material from local variety (0.2%) and handed over to farmers.
