CSIR-NEIST organized a training programme on 'Cultivation and Processing of Aromatic Plants' in association with Juriya Aromatic Small Farmers Unit at Dhanubanga, Goalpara, Assam on 11th October 2018. The first lot of 120 kg of oil (60 kg Citronella and 60 kg Lemongrass) was sold to M/s Ashri Menthols Pvt. Ltd., Uttar Pradesh @ Rs. 1100/- per kg for Lemongrass and Rs. 1050/- per kg for Citronella.
