A training programme on 'Cultivation and processing of aromatic plants' was organised on 10th November at CSIR-NEIST, Itanagar branch. Dr. Mohesh Chai, Hon'ble Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Dairy Development, Horticulture, Fisheries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Arunachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Hon'ble Minister also inaugurated the Essential Oil Distillation Unit installed under CSIR Aroma Mission at Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh in the presence of Dr. Pinaki Sengupta, Chief Scientist, CSIR-NEIST and Coordinator, BLIT.
