A one-day awareness cum seed distribution programme was conducted by Team CSIR-IHBT on 29th April for the farmers of Chamba, Mandi, and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh. About 140 kg seeds of Wild marigold's Himbala variety were distributed to the farmer societies of these districts which will cover about 120 acres of land and will benefit about 250 farmers.
