Team CSIR-IHBT, Palampur conducted one-day awareness cum training programme on improved agrotechnology of aromatic crops at Bhatera village in Sujanpur block located in Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh on 14th October 2021. Fourteen farmers and unemployed youth were trained for cultivation and post-harvest management of aromatic crops viz., Wild marigold, Lemongrass and Tulsi. The team also visited Tulsi and Wild Marigold clusters at Kouna and Roopkund villages in Thural block, Kangra, HP and discussed with the farmers the crop management practices to obtain higher yields.
