One-day Awareness Programme conducted by CSIR - CIMAP Research Centre, Hyderabad for the students of M Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Analysis) from Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad on 20th April 2022. Field visits were also organized for the students to demonstrate medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation. They were taken to the pilot-scale processing units and apprised about the extraction technologies including the distillation of essential oils. Furthermore, lab visits were conducted along with the demonstration of extraction of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) on a small-scale and analysis of plant secondary metabolites using Gas Chromatography and HPLC.
