One-day Training cum Awareness Programme on 'Cultivation, Processing and Marketing of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) of North East India' conducted by CSIR - North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, Assam at Myrdon village, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya on 4th April 2022. A total of 127 farmers attended this training programme. During the programme, a brief presentation on the importance of MAPs cultivation and its use in traditional knowledge was also given by Dr. Vishavajanani J. Sattigeri, Head, CSIR-Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) Unit, New Delhi. The quality planting material (QPM) of NEIST-developed varieties was also distributed among the farmers.
