Team CSIR IHBT visited farmers' fields in Haroli, Una district (HP), Nurpur Bedi village, Rup Nagar district (Punjab) and Panchkula (Haryana). The team interacted with farmers of different clusters, saw the performance of aromatic crops being grown under Aroma Mission and motivated the farmers for cultivation of aromatic crops in wastelands and animal menace affected areas. Processing units have already been installed at these locations for extraction of oil under CSIR Aroma Mission.
