CSIR-NBRI distributed about 100 kg rhizomes/seed of turmeric variety, Kesari under CSIR Aroma Mission to the farmers of Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, another 100 kg were sent to the farmers of aspirational district Nabrangpur, Odisha.
