Team Csir Cimap Research Centre, Bengaluru conducted One-day Awareness cum Training Programme on "Cultivation and Processing of Aromatic Crops" on 25th March 2022 at Forestry College, Ponnampet (University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shivamogga), Kodagu district, Karnataka. Prof. C.G. Kushalappa, Dean of Forestry College was the Chief Guest. About 50 tribal and local farmers in and around Ponnampet participated in the programme. They were apprised of the CSIR-Aroma Mission activities and different crops suitable for cultivation in their region.
