A team from CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow interacted with the farmers during the one-day awareness programme organized at Dudhawara village, Magarload of Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh. The team also visited the Palmarosa cluster developed by 10 young farmers under the CSIR Aroma Mission project. The region is highly affected by domestic animals and is, therefore, suitable for the cultivation of palmarosa crop as it is less affected by grazing animals.
