One-day awareness cum training programme on cultivation and processing of aromatic crops conducted at CSIR IHBT farm under CSIR-Aroma Mission Phase II on 13th September 2021. Farmers from Hamirpur and Bilaspur districts of Himachal Pradesh attended the programme. They were told about the cultivation and post-harvest management of aromatic crops viz. Wild Marigold, Damask Rose, Lemongrass, Palmarosa and Tulsi. The practical exposure on the extraction of essential oil was also given to the farmers
