One-day Awareness Programme conducted by Team Csir Cimap Research Center, Hyderabad on 29th June 2022 in Bonupalle village of Thottambedu mandal, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with Rashtriya Seva Samithi - Krishi Vigyan Kendra (RASS-KVK), ICAR, Govt. of India. About 25 farmers attended the programme.
The quality planting material of Lemongrass, Palmarosa, Tulsi (CIM-Saumya), etc. was also distributed. One of the CIMAP beneficiary farmers who took Lemongrass from CSIR-CIMAP, Hyderabad, the previous year, has extended the area to 30 acres and installed his distillation unit. Now, he is interested in cultivating Palmarosa this year on a large scale.
