On October 29, 2023, a one-day training, awareness and demonstration programme organised on aromatic crops at Chhoi, Ramnagar and Nainital under CSIR Aroma Mission Phase-III. A total of 52 people, including farmers, entrepreneurs, faculty, etc., participated in the programme. All the participants attended and participated in the training and demonstration programme. During the training programme, scientific knowledge about the commercial cultivation of rose-scented geranium, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Rose and Menthol Mint was provided to farmers and also created a scientific temper for the cultivation of aromatic crops to strengthen the economic condition of farmers. Farmers field visits were also conducted for guidance and technical know-how provided to farmers.
