One-day awareness cum training programme on "Aromatic crops suitable for diversification and livelihood generation" conducted at the aspirational district of West Sikkim on April 6, 2022. This programme was organized by Team CSIR IHBT, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh in association with Human Life Reformation and Capacity Building Society (HLRCB), Soreng, Sikkim. More than 25 women farmers, members of SHGs, panchayat members, farm supervisors attended the programme. The processing unit installed under CSIR Aroma Mission was also inaugurated by Mr Vinod Vasnett, Chairman, Skill Development Department, Govt. of Sikkim. The team also visited farmers' fields and discussed the crops suitable for cultivation in their villages.
