Team CSIR-IHBT, Palampur participated in awareness cum training program on aromatic crops and their value addition at village Chowki Maniar, Una, HP on October 15, 2024. The program was organised by alumni association of GSSS Chauki Maniar. More than 300 students of the Government Senior Secondary School,  and farmers of the Shivalik Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Cultivation Society, Chauki Maniar, Una participated in this program. The CSIR-IHBT team apprised students and farmers about the aromatic crop cultivation and their value addition. The team also visited lemongrass field, inspected field distillation unit installed under CSIR AROMA mission, and distributed chamomile seeds to the participants as part of Aroma Mission Phase-III
