Team CSIR-IIIM, Jammu paid visit to farmers' cluster at Uniyal Gaon, Satyun Saklani Patti block, Jaunpur in Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand to review the performance of Lavender crop introduced for the first time in the region under CSIR-Aroma Mission Phase-II. Clary Sage seeds were also distributed to the progressive farmers for plantation in 10-acre area. The farmers expressed gratitude towards CSIR - IIIM, Jammu for introducing Lavender and Team Csir Cimap, Lucknow for introducing other aromatic crops and installing distillation unit in the cluster.
